Projectile Motions
A downloadable tool
This plugin is an extension for PROJECTILE SYSTEM. IT IS NOT A STANDALONE PLUGIN.
- Set motions to actors, map enemies and events
- Motions are not exclusive to when projectile system is active but it is built upon it and as such requires it.
- Custom motions are active all the time once set.
- Set pre action and post action motions for projectiles
- Set moving and idle motions
- Set jumping motion (For however this is implemented)
- Moving motion can be separated into normal walk or dash
There are four main parameters in the plugin. Actor and Enemy motion setup correspond to the database actors/enemies. Custom motions are set on events by comment on the CURRENT event page:
<projectileMotion:id> is used to set the motion group for an event.
The 'id' must match the "Identifier" parameter value for the motion graphics to be loaded. Motion graphics will override an event's default graphic settings:
- Name: Unimportant.
- Identifier: Used to identify the motion graphics setup.
- Graphic: Image from img/characters/ used for custom graphic. Use only single character file, multi-character sheet is NOT supported.
- Graphic Frames are the number of frames the graphic has.
- Action Frame is the frame, if the motion graphic is selected for execute action, on which the projectile is fired.
- Frame Loop: Number of times to loop motion.
Below is an example of a five (5) frame graphic. Set the "Graphic Frames" parameter to "5"
Projectile motions will set the pre-action, execution-action and post-action motions for the projectile user once that projectile is used. If those motions do not exist, they will be skipped.
