  • Not 100% compatible with Monster Capture. Actor bonds are recognized on the actor ID instead of the actor itself. It is not possible to preserve the bond when loading game data as it would then interpret the actor as a new independent actor.
  • Bonds are linked between each actor and are not global.
  • Fully customize the UI however you wish.
  • Set motions for using SV Battler giving and receiving items
  • Setup view scene and "gift" scenes
  • Can be used with skill combo to setup combo skills which require a certain bond level.

The main plugin parameters are as follows:

  • Max Bond Value: Bond value required for bond relation level up.
  • Max Bond Level: Maximum bond level between actors.
  • Actor Bond Settings: Setup bond data for specific actor

Name can be ignored but is useful for organizing your data. Graphic is shown on both the relationship and gift scene based on the settings here.

Connections will display data between this set "Actor" and the connected actor specifically. It means that whatever data is shown here is from the main actor to the connected actor and not in reverse.

"Item Bonds" will allow setting custom bond value gain per specific item(s) whilst "Default Bond" will set the value to gain from gift item if not set in "Item Bonds".

  • Relationship Scene UI Configuration: Setup UI to view actor relationships

"Backgrounds" are static images which can scroll whilst "Back Graphics" can be animated images with multiple frames. It is required to setup the "Actor Select Window" prior to loading the relationship scene.

  • Bond Scene UI Configuration: Setup UI to facilitate actor gifting between each other and view actor relationships of those in party.

For the bond/gift scene, you need to setup "Actor Select Window", "Item Select Window", "Gifter Settings" and "Giftee Settings". 

You may use the provided demo project to see how to setup the plugin by shadowing it's setup.

1. Can you use this  with visustella plugins?

2. Is it possible to set up gaining bond through battles, doing certain actions and dialogue options and not just gifts?

3. Can I I trigger events/dialogue/learn or upgrade skills at certain bond levels if I want while using this plugin? I guess, will this plugin work to help me do all that a la other RPGs I've seen with similar mechanics.

  1. It is not tested with visustella plugins. The design is intended for it to be standalone however meaning limited interference with external plugins.
  2. There is a script call to setup gaining bonds, but it requires using the actors themselves to be used in the script arguments and it requires item data. Plugin help has information on this.
  3. It is compatible with skill combo in that you can use that plugin to setup learning combination attacks which occurs during battle.
